Welcome to Marauders :: After Hogwarts

'The last time Voldemort had power he almost destroyed everything we hold most dear...'

Imagine being thrown into a magical world filled with the doom of one man and his many loyal and violent followers after seven years of being inside the safe halls of Hogwarts. For the marauders and many in their class that is the exact thing that’s going on in their lives. The year is 1978, and the Marauders and their mates have just graduated from Hogwarts. They don’t enter a world of daisies and buttercups though; they enter a world filled with pain, suffering, death, and loss. It is a far cry from the protective walls of Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Rated R for violence, strong language and adult situations.
Our RPG is Intermediate and up.

Valyn stood outside the grand and unusual looking building at the place she used to work before it all went horribly wrong. She hated working at Gringotts even though the momeny was decent. Those creepy little things she disliked so much but she had to go in. They disliked her even more now then ever infact most people did. Despite her crimes and sins she could still walk around in broad day light for she did not allow fear to get in the way of things.

Valyn looked very fasionable today though still sported her favourite colours consisting of blue and black and leather bag which she was able to wrap around her wrists and ware her hair down which was unusualy for her but lately it was to keep that way. With her head held high she walked up the old steps and took a deep breath as she opend the door and entered the building.

Fear engulfed her for a few uncontrolerble seconds and then she regained her confidense. You could never allow a Goblin to get the better of you or else they would never let you forget. She continued walking till she got to the desk a few of the Goblins staired at her but she did not allow that to phaise her. They were horrible to look at and intimidating despite their size their was very little one could find appealing about Goblins. Valyn got to the desssk and was about to speak first but the Goblin got to it first " Can I help you?... miss Rosaura is it?" the Goblin said cooly and Valyn froze for a minute preying no one she new was around to see her frightend of a Goblin " I-I" Valyn started and then in a more confident clear tone " I need to get money from my account" she spoke and could almost swore the Goblin smirked "If that is all, wait to this side some one will be along shortly maddam" replied the Goblin "next" he said indicating for her to step aside.

Augustus walked shiftily through the hall of Gringotts, completely ignoring the long line of witches and wizards queuing to get their business done and simply made his way to one of the Goblins. He didn't have much time to waste now, at least not for waiting for ages in line, he will have to leave to Europe in several hours but before that, he wished to obtained something from his family vault. He approached the one that a blond girl just left, and the Goblin looked at him as if he was some kind of pest--he wondered if the Goblin knew who he was.

"Wait in line, sir" it said sternly at him, but Augustus whisked out a letter from his cloak's pocket and put it on the high table. The goblin gave him another look before he broke the seal and read what was written inside. It was a letter from his father, apparently it mentioned of how Augustus will be allowed to get inside their vault to get the family's engagement ring. And since the vault was in one of those higher security areas, he also given extra privileges to be allowed to come forward and get his business done. The Goblin sighed before he turned to the girl he asked to wait before, then back to Augustus.

"Very well, Mr Rookwood. I will accompany you down to your vault... please follow me."

It was not even a step away from the tall desk when Augustus saw the girl waiting as well and decided to offer her a lift; after all he will surely passed her vault on the way to his, so why can't they go together. "Good afternoon, Mademoiselle" he smiled politely st the girl, "I know this is not my business at all, but would you come along with us? Since we will pass yours on the way..."

Goblins everywhere what could be worse? They were just so horrible looking and worse she could swear they seemed look at her as if to know what she was thinking. She crossed her arms uneasily and glaired back at one who just seemed to smirk at her as he walked on pushing a trolly of paperwork.

Valyn remembered how she used to work here it was a well paid job and that was about it she was abused because she was female and the fact the goblins naturally disliked her because she was a witch and the naturally as a whole disliked both witch or wizard. It was the natural order of things they hated wizards and witches because they stole things from them and got all the glory and Goblins in wizard society were seen as lesser beings a higher class of servent then that of a house elf.

Valyn didn't care they still creeped her out no matter what their beliefs might be. She quickly became distracted by a voice a familair voice almost and the face she recognised as Augustus Rockwood for she had recieved a wedding invitation from his wife to be. "Very well then the sooner I get out of here the better" Valyn agreed she wasn't going to argue if it ment getting out as quickly as possible.

Being in Gringotts sorounded by trolls was worse then getting fired at by one of Voldermorts crucio curses and she should know she had been unfortunate as to discover how it feels to be crucioed by the Dark Lord himself.
